Queens Park Rangers' Djibril Cisse wants Marseille move

Djibril Cisse admits that it would be a "dream" for him to go back to his old club Marseille at the end of the season.

Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse has revealed that he is interested in returning to his old club Marseille in the summer.

The 31-year-old is scheduled to go back to his parent club QPR when his loan spell at Qatari outfit Al Gharafa ends in June.

"Given how things are going sporting-wise for them, it looks complicated," Cisse told France Football.

"If I come back to France, it'll be to play in Ligue 1. It would be a dream to go back there, but there are many things which mean that this eventuality could remain a dream."

Cisse is under contract at QPR, who will play in the Championship next season, until June 2014.
