Djibril Cisse joins Qatari club Al Gharafa on a loan basis from Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers have allowed Djibril Cisse to sign a six-month loan deal with Al Gharafa.

The French striker, who has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the R's this season, has been out of favour at Loftus Road since Harry Redknapp took control of the club.

Following the arrival of his countryman Loic Remy from Marseille, 31-year-old Cisse has now been granted the switch to Qatari-based Al Gharafa, who are coached by former Portsmouth manager Alan Perrin.

Cisse joined QPR from Lazio in January last year.
