Tim Cahill set for Premier League return?

Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland are reportedly among the clubs that are interested in signing Tim Cahill.

Australian international Tim Cahill could be set for a return to the Premier League, according to a report.

The 34-year-old was impressive for his country in this summer's World Cup and became the first Australian to score in three successive tournaments.

Cahill previously spent eight seasons at Everton before joining the New York Red Bulls, but a report from PA claims that Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland are keen on signing him.

It is believed that a number of European clubs are also interested in the midfielder, who has scored 34 goals in 71 appearances for his country.
