Mark Hughes believes that QPR's home support could prove the difference in the fight for survival.

Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes has said that the club's home support could prove the difference in their fight for survival.

The Hoops host Tony Pulis's Stoke City at Loftus Road this afternoon, but Hughes insists that his side's unbeaten record at home since February – despite facing a number of the league's top sides – cannot be ignored.

"Given our position we need to get maximum points," he told the club's official website.

"If we can do as well as we did against the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Swansea, then we will be fine.

"With the determination that we have shown at home, and the support that we have - which is fantastic - we've got a real chance to get maximum points."

QPR are outside the relegation places on goal difference.
