Jay Bothroyd has revealed that he was delighted to open his goalscoring account for Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.
The striker claimed QPR's only goal of the game as they slumped to a 3-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
It was the first time he had found net since his free transfer switch from Cardiff City during the summer.
"Thanks to all the R's fans support was great ... Obviously I'm delighted to get my 1st goal for the hoops," he wrote on Twitter.
The 29-year-old has made one appearance for England.
