Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has been sent for a scan on a groin injury which he picked up during tonight's 0-0 draw with Sunderland.
The 33-year-old was replaced by Rob Green at half time at the Stadium of Light.
Cesar, who has a history of groin problems, is now expected to miss QPR's home game against relegation rivals Aston Villa on Saturday.
He has conceded 20 goals in 12 appearances for the Hoops.
