Marcel Ritzmaier switches to NEC

NEC secure the services of Austrian midfielder Marcel Ritzmaier on a season-long loan deal from PSV Eindhoven.

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Marcel Ritzmaier has joined NEC on a season-long loan deal.

The Austrian joined PSV from SK Austria Karnten in 2010, but since then he has struggled to establish himself at the Philips Stadion.

Instead, the 22-year-old has spent much of his time with PSV's reserve side, while he also had a loan spell with SC Cambuur during the 2013-14 campaign.

Ritzmaier has now finalised a switch to NEC, where he will be reunited with former PSV assistant boss Ernest Faber.
