Luuk de Jong joins PSV Eindhoven

Former Newcastle United loanee Luuk de Jong agrees a switch to PSV Eindhoven from Borussia Monchengladbach.

PSV Eindhoven have secured the services of Luuk de Jong from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 23-year-old had a spell on loan at Newcastle United last season, but manager Alan Pardew decided against signing him on a permanent basis and has since recruited his brother Siem.

It had been reported that De Jong may remain in Germany, but he has now returned to his native Holland with PSV.

The striker started his career with De Graafschap, before a spell with FC Twente, whom he helped to win the Eredivisie title in 2010.ID:164695: cacheID:164695:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1900:
