Tuesday's Eredivisie predictions including PSV Eindhoven vs. VVV-Venlo

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Eredivisie fixtures, including PSV Eindhoven vs. VVV-Venlo.

Sittard vs. RKC Waalwijk (Tuesday, 3.30pm)

Fortuna Sittard host RKC Waalwijk in the Eredivisie on Tuesday, with the visitors looking to stay above their opponents in the table by avoiding defeat.

Sittard, meanwhile, have moved out of the relegation zone by remaining unbeaten in their last three matches, so will be looking to put further daylight between themselves and the bottom three.

We say: Fortuna Sittard 1-1 RKC Waalwijk

With both sides improving of late, we can envisage both managers being content with avoiding defeat as they look to move further clear of the relegation zone.

As such, it would be little surprise to see both sets of players play in a risk-averse manner.

Emmen vs. Utrecht (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

FC Emmen take on FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie on Tuesday, with the hosts looking for their first win of the season in order to move off the bottom of the table.

Utrecht, meanwhile, can move into the top half with a win.

We say: Emmen 1-2 FC Utrecht

With both sides short of victories this season, it could be a match marked by the lack of confidence on display more than anything else.

However, we expect Hake to record an overdue first win since taking charge last month, with Emmen looking destined for relegation this season.

PSV vs. VVV-Venlo (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

PSV Eindhoven will be aiming to keep the pressure on Eredivisie leaders Ajax when they host struggling VVV-Venlo on Tuesday.

The second-placed Boeren are currently three points behind the Amsterdam giants, while VVV are just a point and a place above the bottom three.

We say: PSV Eindhoven 4-0 VVV-Venlo

There is surely only one outcome in this game and that is a PSV win. Schmidt's side are in great form and are unstoppable at home, so the chances of a poor VVV-Venlo team getting a result here seem slim. The visitors just need to make sure that the result does not get embarrassing.

FC Twente vs. Sparta (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

FC Twente will be hoping to win at home for the first time since the end of October when they welcome Sparta Rotterdam to De Grolsch Veste on Tuesday evening.

Ron Jans's side are currently sixth in the Eredivisie table, while De Kasteelheren sit in ninth position.

We say: FC Twente 2-1 Sparta Rotterdam

Twente have shown themselves to be a much improved side this season, and have a lot of attacking talent in their side. That should make them favourites for this game, but Sparta are more solid than they were earlier in the campaign and will not make it easy for the hosts.
