PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu believes that Lucas Moura will be an important addition to the squad when he joins the Ligue 1 leaders in January.

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has welcomed the arrival of new signing Lucas Moura to the Parc des Princes.

The Brazilian signed a contract with the Ligue 1 leaders in the summer, but he will officially join the club from Sao Paulo in the New Year.

"He will certainly be a very important player for the present and for the future because he is very young," Sirigu told reporters. "He will definitely help us in the league and for the knockout stage of the Champions League."

PSG are back in action on January 6 when they visit Arras in the second round of the French Cup.
