Maurizio Zamparini: 'Paulo Dybala good investment for Paris Saint-Germain'

Palermo are demanding €50m from Paris Saint-Germain for Paulo Dybala, according to president Maurizio Zamparini.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has suggested that buying Paulo Dybala would be a good investment for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Zamparini had previously claimed that Napoli have made enquiries about the Argentine forward's availability, and that he would personally like to sell to Gli Azzurri.

However, the Palermo supremo has now revealed that Dybala's representatives are in discussions with Les Parisiens, with the Sicilians demanding €50m (£35.8m) for the frontman.

He told Telefoot: "Dybala, he is the new [Lionel] Messi. If you buy Messi, how much do you pay? €200m? €300m? Even at that price, they wouldn't sell you him.

"He is the player of the team. Dybala is that type of player. The player's representative has already been to Paris to discuss. But I am in contact with Nasser and his agent.

"For them, it would be a good investment in the future. He is worth €40m, but I have asked Nasser Al Khelaifi for €50m for him."

PSG are currently top of Ligue 1 after a 6-1 win against Lille on Saturday.
