Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Mamadou Sakho has admitted that he has always been a fan of the club, ahead of the big derby against Marseille at the weekend.
Sakho said that because of his love for the club, Classiques against Marseille mean so much more to him.
"When I was young I used to watch the Classique with all my mates in the neighbourhood," he told Ligue1.com.
"There was always a lot of chatter, a lot of bets going down. There was great tension surrounding these games and we always looked forward to them.
"[Signing my first PSG contract] was a very special moment for me. I've always been a PSG fan, I used to go to the Parc des Princes as a kid, starting when I was seven or eight, so to be able to defend the colours of my team on the pitch is very emotional."
League leaders PSG could move eight points ahead of Marseille with victory on Sunday.
