Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to consider a reunion with former head coach Thomas Tuchel.
Last summer, the French giants made the decision to replace Mauricio Pochettino with Christophe Galtier, a consequence of the star-studded club being eliminated at the last 16 of the Champions League.
Although PSG are clear at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, last season's disappointment has repeated itself with PSG losing 3-0 on aggregate to Bayern Munich on this occasion.
While an exit at that stage of the competition is deemed a disaster, so is failing to even get on the scoresheet over the course of the two legs.
Galtier had already been under pressure to retain his job at Parc des Princes, a reprieve having recently been earned through a potentially-pivotal victory at Marseille.

However, with PSG again missing out on a deep run in European football's premier competition, there is an inevitability about his eventual departure, like there was with Pochettino.
According to Relevo, club officials are open to trying to tempt Tuchel to spend a second spell in the French capital.
Between May 2018 and December 2020, the German put together a record of 104 wins from 140 matches at PSG, guiding the club to the Champions League final in 2020 before they suffered a narrow defeat to Bayern.
Disagreements behind the scenes led to Tuchel's exit at the end of that year, before he was appointed as head coach of Chelsea and won the Champions League with the Premier League outfit at the conclusion of that campaign.

Tuchel has been out of work since September after Chelsea's new owners decided for a fresh start under their leadership, yet the 49-year-old continues to be linked with numerous high-profile jobs.
In the past, it has been suggested that Tuchel would like to manage Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future, and the report adds that his preference is a new challenge.
Nevertheless, PSG chiefs allegedly now hold a positive relationship with Tuchel and would welcome him back if he was interested in another spell at the club.
As it stands, Galtier is expected to remain in charge for Saturday's Ligue 1 encounter at Brest as PSG look to extend their lead to 11 points.
