Emirates extend Paris Saint-Germain sponsorship

Paris Saint-Germain announce that their sponsorship deal with Emirates is extended to the end of the 2018-19 season.

Paris Saint-Germain have revealed that they have extended their sponsorship deal with airline Emirates.

The deal has been extended for a further five years, which will now see Emirates back PSG until the summer of 2019.

"This agreement reinforces the strong link that has developed between Paris Saint-Germain and Emirates, and gives each partner the chance to ensure the visibility of its brand in the whole world, by simultaneously reinforcing each other's image thanks to the worldwide presence," Sky Sports News quotes club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi as saying.

According to L'Equipe, the sponsorship will now be worth £21m per season, which is comfortably the highest deal ever for a French club.
