Preston North End manager Simon Grayson has described Joe Garner as a "natural goalscorer" after the striker scored a second-half hat-trick to knock Ipswich Town out of the FA Cup.
Preston were 1-0 behind, but Garner scored twice in the space of two minutes to put the home side ahead.
David McGoldrick made it 2-2, but Garner grabbed the winner with just two minutes of normal time remaining.
"He's a natural goalscorer and he's probably not had the run of games to get his confidence and a few goals but we believed in him, saw what he was doing in training and he's getting his just rewards now," Grayson told Sky Sports News.
"He's got great movement, he's a brave lad, he'll get on the end of things and he's two-footed. He's playing with a lot of confidence and we want that to continue for a long time."
Preston's reward for victory is a fourth-round tie against Nottingham Forest.
