Portugal vs. Uruguay: How do both squads compare ahead of World Cup clash?

Ahead of Monday's World Cup meeting between Portugal and Uruguay, Sports Mole looks at how both squads compare, including their most valuable and top-scoring players.

Portugal set out to make it two wins from two in Group H and secure their place in the knockout stages when they take on Uruguay at the Lusail Stadium on Monday.

The Selecao kicked off their World Cup campaign on a high as they claimed a 3-2 victory over Ghana, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix and Rafael Leao getting on the scoresheet to sink the Black Stars last Thursday.

While Fernando Santos's side are one win away from securing a fourth knockout-stage appearance, Uruguay will set out to get their campaign back on track after playing out a somewhat disappointing goalless draw in their opener against South Korea.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the squads of Portugal and Uruguay stack up against each other ahead of Monday's matchup.
