Portsmouth reportedly want to speak to Phil Brown about becoming their next manager.
The South Coast club are currently looking for a new boss following Andy Awford's departure on Monday.
Brown is currently in charge of fellow League Two side Southend United, who are fifth in the table and in contention for an automatic promotion place.
According to Sky Sports News, Brown is one of the names that Portsmouth are considering for the vacant manager's role.
The report adds that Brown would be interested in taking charge at Fratton Park, but he is fully focused on his job at Southend for the time being.
Gary Waddock has taken caretaker charge of Pompey until the end of the season, with Paul Hardyman as his assistant.
