Sports Mole rounds up all of the day's League Two action.

Lee Hughes scored on his debut to send Port Vale to the summit of League Two after they defeated previous leaders Gillingham 2-1.

Exeter ran out convincing winners 3-0 winners over Southend thanks to two John 0'Flynn goals and Chesterfield achieved the same score against Northampton, with Marc Richards also scoring a brace against his former club.

Perhaps the result of the day came at the Highbury Stadium as bottom side Bristol Rovers thumped Fleetwood 3-0.

Plymouth moved out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 victory after sacking Carl Fletcher, while Barnet earned a fine 2-0 win at Rotherham.
