Poland boss Waldemar Fornalik refused to resign after his side's bid to qualify for next year's World Cup ended on Friday night.
A 1-0 defeat to Ukraine, along with England's 4-1 win over Montengero, extinguished Poland's hopes of progressing from Group H.
Poland's qualifying campaign now concludes with a trip to England on Tuesday, and Fornalik insists that he will remain in charge for the match at Wembley.
"I'm not going to resign - now I'm only thinking about a game with England," he told reporters.
"I have a contract till the end of this year and we have one more match in the qualifying rounds.
"We will assess the team and how we were eliminated later."
Fornalik took charge of the Polish national team in July 2012 following the dismissal of Franciszek Smuda.
