Palermo president expects Paulo Dybala exit

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini says that he has spoken to a number of clubs about the sale of striker Paulo Dybala.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has hinted that the club will sell top scorer Paulo Dybala this summer.

The 21-year-old has won a number of admirers after scoring 12 league goals for the Rosanero on their return to Serie A.

He has been heavily linked with a switch to many of Europe's biggest clubs, and Zamparini has admitted that he has spoken to a host of potential suitors.

"Palermo can be self-sufficient," he told Palermo's official website. "We don't have any need for cash injections, although we'll have that this year thanks to Dybala's departure.

"We've worked hard on this, and we're comfortable. The team is very good, and there will be four or five new faces to support those who are already here, and replace the players who have been sold.

"Dybala? The major European clubs have contacted me, I've spoken directly with the Presidents of interested clubs in England and France. There's a lot of interest, the lad is very talented, and we'll try to reach an agreement with his agent, family and everyone to suit their interests, as well of those of Palermo who helped him grow."

Dybala joined Palermo from Argentine club Instituto de Cordoba in 2012 and has gone on to score 20 goals for the Sicilians.
