Quintet to stay with Oldham Athletic

Jonathan Forte and James Wilson are among five players who have extended their stays with Oldham Athletic.

Oldham Athletic have confirmed that five first-team players have extended their contracts with the League One club.

Jonathan Forte, James Wilson, Rhys Turner, Jordan Bove and Jack Truelove have all been kept on at Boundary Park for another season.

Connor Brown, Adam Lockwood and George Elokobi have been offered new deals by the Latics, but James Dayton and Amari Morgan-Smith have been released.

Oldham finished the season in 15th place in the table, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
