Kwesi Appiah joins Notts County on loan

Crystal Palace striker Kwesi Appiah joins Notts County on a one-month loan deal.

Crystal Palace striker Kwesi Appiah has joined League 1 Notts County on a one-month emergency loan deal.

The 23-year-old, who has made seven appearances for the Eagles first team, has been named on the bench for County's visit to Peterborough tonight.

Appiah has excelled in the Palace development squad, netting nine goals in 13 matches, while the Englishman has also had previous loan stints at League 2 Aldershot and Yeovil Town, among others.

Before joining up with the Magpies, Appiah has also agreed to extend his contract at Selhurst Park by a further year, keeping him at the club until 2015.
