Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren doesn't expect any new arrivals at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren believes that it is unlikely that the club will take advantage of the loan window, which opened last week.

The former England boss has made it known in recent weeks that he would like to add to his Forest squad, but has now revealed that the chances of him getting his wish are slim.

"I would like to but the way it is going at the present moment, I don't expect to," he told the Nottingham Evening Post.

"But we are trying, that is my job and is probably why I have spoken out. I am fighting for the team, fighting for the fans and want them to be proud of the team."

McClaren last week moved to deny reports that he was considering his position as Forest boss.
