David Vaughan returns to Nottingham Forest

Welsh midfielder David Vaughan joins Nottingham Forest from Sunderland on a deal until the end of the season.

David Vaughan has rejoined Nottingham Forest on a deal until the end of the season.

The midfielder originally linked up with the Championship outfit on a loan basis from Sunderland back in October.

That deal has since expired, but all parties have now reached an agreement that has allowed the 30-year-old to return to the City Ground.

He has made a total of six appearances for Billy Davies's team.
