Report: Nottingham Forest close to Modou Barrow loan from Swansea City

Swansea City winger Modou Barrow could reportedly join Championship club Nottingham Forest on loan.

Championship club Nottingham Forest have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Modou Barrow on loan from Swansea City.

The 22-year-old Gambian winger signed a new contract with Swansea in January, but he has only made one Premier League start this season.

Barrow was signed from Swedish club Ostersunds in September last year and scored his first Swansea goal in January's 6-2 FA Cup win against Tranmere Rovers.

Forest, who are ninth in the Championship with 10 games of the season to go, could offer Barrow the chance of first-team football, according to BBC Sport.
