Billy Davies praises Nottingham Forest team spirit

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies says that his side showed great character to beat Brighton & Hove Albion despite trailing at half time.

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has praised the "never say die" attitude of his players after they recovered from a goal down at half time to defeat Brighton & Hove Albion.

A double from Henri Lansbury and a Darius Henderson strike saw the Scot's team bounce back from Andrew Crofts's first-half opener at the Amex Stadium this afternoon.

"This team never say die and it was a great three points," PA quotes Davies as saying. "It wasn't one of our most emphatic wins but away from home we've done very well.

"The Brighton keeper made three or four great saves in the first half and we were disappointed to go in 1-0 down.

"At the interval I felt confident we would get the three points and we did so by showing tremendous resilience and wonderful character."

Forest are three points off Championship leaders Burnley after 11 games.
