Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman has admitted that the foot injury to midfielder Robert Tesche is a "big blow" to the club.
Shortly before half time in Friday's match with Brighton & Hove Albion, Tesche sustained a broken foot, but while acknowledging the setback, Freedman admitted that it will give another member of his squad a chance to stake a claim for a starting role.
The 41-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Unfortunately Robert has broken his foot and it's a big blow. It's the last thing we need right now but it'll give opportunities to others."
A Kazenga Lua Lua goal was enough to give Brighton a 1-0 victory.
