Report: Gary Hooper to stay at Norwich City

Norwich City's asking price may reportedly see Gary Hooper remain with the Championship club.

Gary Hooper could reportedly remain a Norwich City player beyond tonight's 11pm deadline, despite a vast amount of speculation surrounding his future.

The 26-year-old has been linked with the likes of Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace in recent days.

However, Norwich are keen to recoup the £5m that they paid to secure the striker's services from Celtic last summer, which has put off potential suitors, according to the Daily Mail.

Hooper scored eight goals in all competitions for the Canaries last term.
