Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has reportedly made John Ruddy and Michael Dawson his main January transfer targets.
Goalkeeper Ruddy has fallen out of favour at Norwich City of late, with his place between the posts having been given to Declan Rudd.
According to The Mirror, it is a situation that Howe is keen to take advantage of, particularly because his current number one keeper Artur Boruc is out of contract in the summer.
The report adds that the Cherries have also lodged an enquiry with Hull City regarding the availability of their centre-back Dawson.
The 32-year-old has 18 months left to run on his deal at the KC Stadium, yet it is believed that he may be available for a knockdown fee.
