Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has revealed his "massive pride" at his side's comprehensive home victory over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
The Canaries won 4-0 at Carrow Road to enhance their chances of staving off relegation from the Premier League this season.
"It's a feeling of massive pride and we made life quite difficult in the second half of the season but that's an indication of how tough this league is," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"We have to fight for every win and were in a downward spiral we found it difficult to get out of. There were nerves and anxiety.
"We were desperate to stay in the Premier League and knew a win would make sure we retained our Premier League status and the way we went about it from the first minute was excellent."
Norwich are currently 12th in the league table with 41 points from 37 matches, six points above the relegation zone.
