Reading want Dan Gosling?

A report suggests that Reading want to sign Newcastle United midfielder Dan Gosling on a loan deal.

Newcastle United midfielder Dan Gosling has materialised as a reported loan target of Championship side Reading.

From tomorrow morning, teams in the Football League are allowed to add to their squads with temporary signings.

Reading manager Nigel Adkins is hoping that he can take advantage of that fact, particularly after his reported move for Mohamed Sissoko fell through, according to The People.

The report went on to add that Adkins has turned his attention to Gosling, who has been told by Newcastle that he can leave.

Gosling was linked with a move to Crystal Palace earlier this summer, but terms could not be agreed.
