Newcastle United are eyeing a move for Norwich City winger Anthony Pilkington, according to a report.

The Republic of Ireland international has impressed since arriving in the Premier League two seasons ago with the Canaries.

Magpies boss Alan Pardew has told his scouting department to keep regular tabs on the 25-year-old as a possible replace for midfielder Jonas Gutierrez, reports The People.
