Newcastle United complete Davide Santon signing

Davide Santon has finalised his transfer from Inter Milan to Newcastle United.

The 20-year-old's agent revealed yesterday that his client was keen on a move to the Magpies and he has now put pen-to-paper on a five-year-deal at St James' Park.

"I am really pleased to sign for Newcastle. The chance to play in the Premier League and in front of 50,000 fans at St. James' Park was too good to turn down," Santon told the club's official website.

"This is an ambitious club who want to move forward and I want to help them achieve that."

Santon has been handed the number three shirt.
