Fabricio Coloccini to leave Newcastle United in the summer?

Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini will leave the club in the summer, according to a report.

Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini is to leave the club in the summer, according to a report.

The Argentine defender is reportedly homesick and wants a return to his homeland this summer after being linked with a move away from the Magpies in January, reports the Daily Star

Coloccini hasn't played for Alan Pardew's side since their 4-2 win over Southampton in February as he has been out with a back injury.

The 31-year-old could not be the only player to leave Newcastle in the summer, as Mike Williamson, Dan Gosling and Danny Simpson also want moves away from Tyneside.
