Newcastle United and Swansea City fail to find the net at the Sports Direct Arena this afternoon.

Newcastle United and Swansea City played out a 0-0 draw at the Sports Direct Arena this afternoon.

Alan Pardew's Newcastle created the better goalscoring opportunities, but they were unable to find a way past Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

The Dutch keeper was on hand to deny Demba Ba and Leon Best before the break.

After the restart Scott Sinclair had Swansea's best chance of the match, but he curled his 74th minute effort beyond the upright.

Ba then had another shot saved by Vorm, as did French midfielder Yohan Cabaye seven minutes from time.

The result means that Newcastle have now gone five Premier League matches without a victory.
