Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has claimed that he is "confident" that he will still be at the club next season.
The Magpies ended a difficult Premier League campaign in 16th place on Sunday with a 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal.
"I'm pretty confident I'll be the manager here," Pardew told Sky Sports News.
"I love being the manager and I will be speaking to [club officials] this week to make sure we get a response and the right reaction."
Pardew's current deal at Newcastle is due to end in 2020 after he signed an eight-year extension in September.
