Fabricio Coloccini targeting Watford win

Newcastle United skipper Fabricio Coloccini hopes that the team takes the win from their Premier League clash against Watford on Saturday.

Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini has stated that it is important the team takes all three points from their Premier League clash against Watford on Saturday.

The Magpies currently sit bottom of the table following their 2-0 defeat at West Ham United on Monday, which leaves them still looking for a first win of the campaign.

Coloccini has said that he wants the match against the Hornets to get the team's season going again.

"We can't accept what happened at West Ham," he told The Chronicle. "We must try to get points and wins in the next few games.

"We see games against West Ham and Watford as teams in 'our league' who we should be taking points from so it's disappointing.

"We must try to avoid the same mistakes going forward. For us, we can't afford to have our heads down so we must look forward and get some points. We need to eliminate the mistakes and learn from it."

Newcastle have taken two points from their opening five Premier League games.
