Napoli to sign Duvan Zapata

Estudiantes president Enrique Lombardi confirms that a deal has been agreed for former Queens Park Rangers target Duvan Zapata to join Napoli.

Estudiantes have confirmed that a deal has been agreed for striker Duvan Zapata to join Napoli.

Zapata had been a summer target for Queens Park Rangers, but the 22-year-old will now complete a move to Naples, subject to passing a medical this weekend.

"The terms have been finalised and everything has already been signed," Estudiantes president Enrique Lombardi told La Redonda. "Napoli will pay around €8m (£6.9m)."

Zapata has represented Colombia five times at Under-20 level.
