Lorenzo Insigne will "never forget" Champions League debut goal

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne is delighted to have scored on his Champions League debut.

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne has revealed his delight with his goal on his Champions League debut against Borussia Dortmund.

Lorenzo's free kick proved to be the winner in the Group F tie as Napoli beat 10-man Dortmund 2-1 to continue their 100% start to the season.

"It was an amazingly emotional experience to score on my Champions League debut in front of my people; I'll never forget this night," UEFA.com quotes Insigne as saying.

"We started well, were aggressive from the outset and it was easier after Roman Weidenfeller was sent off.

"We did well to believe in it to the end to get these three points. We were compact, like a big team has to be, and that is how you win games."

Arsenal beat Marseille at the Stade Velodrome in the other match in the group.
