Neil Harris: 'Millwall can still stay up'

Neil Harris is still hopeful that Millwall can avoid relegation following their 0-0 Championship draw against Cardiff.

Millwall manager Neil Harris is still hopeful that the club can avoid relegation to League One despite only managing a 0-0 draw against Cardiff City this afternoon.

The Lions had chances to win the match in the second half, with Mark Beevers hitting the crossbar and Ricardo Fuller setting up Gary Taylor-Fletcher late on.

"Gary is disappointed with that chance and not scoring, as are a few of the other boys. We had a few good chances to score today," Harris told Sky Sports News.

"But the pleasing thing is we are getting those chances. Ricardo and Gary did well coming on, they were a positive change and had we got one we might have had two or three.

"I know as much as you guys about the Rotherham situation. We just know we are back in the mix. It does not help us not knowing but we have to look after ourselves and keep going."

The result moved Millwall to within four points of safety, although the gap could be reduced if Rotherham United are punished for fielding an ineligible player against Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month.
