Millwall lead Wigan Athletic 1-0 at the halfway point of the Championship meeting between the two sides courtesy of a Carlos Edwards strike.
The Lions took the lead in the 22nd minute when Edwards picked up Nicky Bailey's pass inside the box and rifled an effort beyond Scott Carson in the Latics goal.
Wigan almost registered an immediate response as a James McClean effort sailed high and wide, and Nicky Maynard was unable to find the target from inside the box in the 33rd minute.
Uwe Rosler's side almost drew level on the stroke of half time as Jack Collison gained possession inside the area, but was unable to find a way past David Forde in the Millwall goal.
