Millwall and Bradford City share six goals in thrilling FA Cup tie

Ricardo Fuller rescues Millwall as his late equaliser secures them a 3-3 draw and a third-round replay with Bradford City in the FA Cup.

A late Ricardo Fuller goal rescued Millwall and secured them a 3-3 draw at home to Bradford City in the FA Cup third-round.

The visitors took an early lead when Billy Knott poked home from a corner to capitalise on their fast start.

The Lions were visibly frustrated, and that only increased when the officials ruled out a Fuller goal for offside from a Danny Shittu knockdown.

However, their pressure paid off shortly after when Scott McDonald steered a header into the corner of the net after neat work on the wing by Lee Martin, sending the teams in level at half time.

In the second half, the home side grabbed the lead as Fuller netted his fourth goal of the season when he tapped home McDonald's cross from close range.

However, the visitors replied just minutes later as James Hanson's shot deflected onto the bar and went in off Millwall defender Sid Nelson.

Six minutes later, Bradford completed the turnaround as Knott volleyed the ball in from close range for his second goal of the game, but Millwall refused to lie down and they grabbed another equaliser through Fuller, as the experienced striker coolly converted Magaye Gueye's pass.

Neither side could find a late winner and they will have to meet again at Valley Parade to decide who will go through to the fourth round.
