Report: Cardiff City defender Fabio Da Silva to seal Middlesbrough move

Cardiff City defender Fabio Da Silva will complete a move to Premier League side Middlesbrough in the next 48 hours, according to reports.

Cardiff City defender Fabio Da Silva is on the verge of completing a move to Middlesbrough in the next 48 hours, according to reports.

The former Manchester United full-back, who has one year left on his contract, was left out of the Bluebirds' matchday squad for the opening-day draw at Birmingham City last weekend.

According to Sky Sports News, the 26-year-old Brazilian could go straight into the Boro squad for their Premier League opener at home to Stoke City on Saturday.

Fabio has made 68 appearances during his two and a half years at Cardiff, scoring once in a 3-1 defeat to Middlesbrough at the Riverside last season.
