Good afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage from day three of the men's football at the 2012 Olympic Games.
Team GB's women's outfit emerged from their section as group winners on Tuesday, and Stuart Pearce's side will look to follow suit this evening.
We have all 16 Olympic teams in action on day three, with a number of permutations to consider as the group phase of the competition draws to a close.
Team GB will look to secure their spot in the latter stages when they face Uruguay this evening, while favourites Brazil face New Zealand in the early kickoff.
Note that the live action begins at 2.30pm.

The remaining spot will go to either Egypt or Belarus. Who takes the final spot is fairly straightforward; if Belarus claim a point then they will progress, while Egypt will advance with all three points.

Korea need just a point to be sure of progressing, while they could win the group if Mexico do not beat Switzerland. Gabon need the win to stand any chance of progressing, but they will be reliant on other results going their way.
2.02Now onto Group B. Mexico currently sit top of the standings ahead of their match with Switzerland, and they need just a single point to ensure progress. Meanwhile, Switzerland must claim all three points to be certain of a spot in the next round.
2.00UAE cannot progress to the quarter-finals having lost their opening two games, but they could claim third by beating Senegal, if Team GB record all three points against Uruguay. Team GB just need a point to book their spot in the next round, but they will be eliminated at the expense of Uruguay should the South American outfit secure the win.
