Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has left the club to join Marseille on a loan deal.
The Ivory Coast international has not featured for United this season, with Erik ten Hag deeming the centre-back surplus to requirements.
Following the arrival of Lisandro Martinez this summer, the 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the club and as a result, Bailly was told that he was allowed to leave the club this summer.
Bailly has attracted interest from the likes of Fulham, Roma, and AC Milan, but it was recently revealed that Marseille had reached an agreement with United over a loan deal.
The Red Devils have since confirmed that Bailly has joined Marseille on loan for the remainder of the season, with the deal including a buy option.
While Bailly has agreed to join the Ligue 1 club, United are still believed to be looking to offload three more defenders before the transfer window closes next week.
Bailly made 113 appearances for United, winning the Europa League, EFL Cup and the Community Shield in his time at Old Trafford.
