Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly approached Chelsea to discuss a loan move for Billy Gilmour.
The 20-year-old starred for Scotland in their Euro 2020 clash with England on Friday but was forced to miss Tuesday's match against Croatia, having tested positive for coronavirus.
Gilmour only made five Premier League appearances for Chelsea last term, and the Blues are thought to be open to the idea of the midfielder leaving on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.
A recent report claimed that Norwich City were interested in his services, but according to Football Insider, there is also firm interest from Wolves.
The website claims that the Bruno Lage's side view Gilmour as the ideal player to come into a midfield which is set to be overhauled during this summer's transfer window.
The Scot could potentially be a replacement for Portugal's Ruben Neves, who continues to be linked with both Arsenal and Manchester United in the current market.
Gilmour's contract with Chelsea is due to expire in the summer of 2023.
