West Ham United are reportedly set to rival Manchester United and Newcastle United in the race to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara.

The 22-year-old is out of contract this summer and he is now free to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs, with a host of Premier League teams believed to be monitoring his situation.

According to The Sun, West Ham are the latest side to have registered their interest in signing Kamara, who wants a £150,000-a-week contract from his next club.

The Hammers are prepared to wait for Kamara to move to the London Stadium in the summer, should he choose David Moyes's side as his preferred destination, though a January exit from Marseille could still be on the cards for the Frenchman.

Moyes is keen to bolster his squad in the winter window, with Brazilian midfielder Danilo and Chelsea's 22-year-old defender Malang Sarr two more players who the Hammers have identified as potential targets.

Kamara, who has also been linked with Serie A outfit Roma, has played 144 times for Marseille across all competitions, including 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
