Kees Vos: 'Robin van Persie expected back at Manchester United for training'

Robin van Persie's agent Kees Vos says that the striker will report to training for Manchester United despite talk of a proposed move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Robin van Persie's agent has played down talk of the striker already agreeing a deal to move away from Manchester United.

Some reports in the press have suggested that the Dutchman has agreed a lucrative contract with Turkish side Fenerbahce, but according to the striker's representative, Kees Vos, Van Persie is expected back to report for pre-season training at Carrington.

"If Robin had found a new club, we would have announced it. And I'm in the Netherlands right now," Vos told Voetbal International, according to the Daily Mail.

"All I can say that tomorrow Robin will simply report at Manchester United for the first training session."

Van Persie has scored 48 goals in 64 appearances for United.
