Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is reportedly on the brink of signing for Eintracht Frankfurt.
Despite arriving from Ajax with a big reputation, Van de Beek has failed to make a positive impact during his time at Old Trafford.
Just 62 appearances have been made in all competitions, with the Netherlands international contributing just two goals and two assists during that time.
Since the start of the 2022-23 campaign, when Erik ten Hag took charge, Van de Beek has accumulated just 323 minutes of game time, although he was not helped by a serious knee injury sustained at the turn of last year.
While van de Beek was able to make his return at the end of September, he has not played a single minute since two substitute outings at that time.

With United known to need to boost their position with FFP, it has been suggested for some time that the 26-year-old will be allowed to depart the Theatre of Dreams in due course.
Furthermore, Ten Hag himself has acknowledged that his Dutch compatriot is most likely to take on a new challenge elsewhere after failing to provide him with more opportunities in the senior ranks.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, such is Van de Beek's place in the pecking order that he is being allowed to complete a transfer to Frankfurt this week.
As he first revealed last week, Romano says that the two clubs have formally agreed the details regarding a loan switch that will include Frankfurt possessing an option to buy Van de Beek.

Should they choose to activate that clause, Frankfurt will allegedly pay €11m (£9.47m) with a further €4m (£3.4m) being contributed in add-ons at a later date.
Van de Beek is due to undergo a medical with the Bundesliga outfit within the next 24 hours, the assumption being that he would not return to the United fold if it proves to be successful.
United still have Premier League fixtures with West Ham United, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest before the start of the January window.
That said, Sofyan Amrabat, Scott McTominay, Kobbie Mainoo and Hannibal are currently all ahead of Van de Beek, while Casemiro and Mason Mount are due to return from injury in the coming weeks.
