Manchester United 'to move for Ezequiel Lavezzi'

Manchester United reportedly prepare a bid for Liverpool target Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to move ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Lavezzi was thought to be close to joining Liverpool last summer, while the Argentine winger was also linked with a switch to Anfield in the January window.

However, Fichajes.net reports that the ex-Napoli star will leave the Parc des Princes at the end of the current campaign, with the Red Devils now expected to bid.

United may even consider a swap deal involving Lavezzi's international teammate Angel Di Maria in order to sign the midfielder.

Lavezzi joined PSG from Napoli in the summer of 2012.
